disaster-recovery Recovery and Prevention

Japan has a long history of experiencing various natural disasters, which has consequently led to substantial research in the field of disaster prevention.
Nonetheless, the concept of future-oriented reconstruction holds significant value in the context of inclusivity.
This project aims to integrate the principles of reconstruction, as opposed to mere recovery, into the framework of building an inclusive future.
Our research will focus on supporting the rehabilitation of disaster-affected regions and advancing scientific studies on natural disasters.
Furthermore, we will investigate disaster prevention risks with a particular emphasis on human factors, including age, generational, and gender differences.
