Global Japan Research Lab
Where does Japan stand in the world today?
As the most aged society and a country with significant gender disparities, Japan faces numerous challenges that are common globally, as outlined in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
However, the extent and patterns of these challenges vary widely.
This project aims to delve into the core of these issues by comparing diverse themes across disciplines, focusing on Japan and other countries.
We will actively engage with international advisory committee members and mid-career and young researchers who share common interests.
Specifically, we seek the active participation of the younger generation in interdisciplinary research on Japan, promoting online seminars and in-person workshops.
